Please Note: You or your carer must order your prescription directly from the surgery. We cannot accept requests for medication via a pharmacy or other third party.
Patients on long-term medication can order repeat prescriptions in a number of ways:
- In person - drop your repeat slip in to reception with the required items clearly marked.
- By post - send it to us with a stamped addressed envelope if you want it posted back to you.
- Online - via the link at the top of this page. Please contact reception in person for your user name and passwords. To register for online services you will have to produce some ID at reception such as Passport or Driving License.
Electronic Prescription Service
We offer the Electronic Prescription Service, which allows you to choose or "nominate" a pharmacy to get your medicines or appliances from. Your GP then sends your prescription electronically to the place you nominated.
If you collect your prescriptions from your GP you are now able to have them sent electronically direct to the Pharmacy of your choice saving you a trip to the surgery.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner, practice nurse or practice pharmacist at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
